As a Firmware Engineer, you assist the firmware development team in designing, developing, and producing our firmware-supported products.

Role:

As a Junior Firmware Engineer, you would be responsible for developing the firmware for lighting systems and associated test equipment. You will be involved in thorough testing, debugging, and optimisation of the firmware. 

  • ● Design and program firmware architecture for multiple lighting fixtures and testing equipment.
  • ● Optimise, update, and maintain the firmware for existing lighting systems.
  • ● Develop an intuitive UI navigation system.
  • ● Develop closed-loop infrastructure for tuning and colour calibration of lights.

Requirements:

  • ● 2 years of experience in embedded C.
  • ● 1 year of experience in any wireless protocol.
  • ● Must know how to implement protocols on register level (SPI, CAN, UART, USART, PWM)
  • ● Basics using Ethernet protocols.
  • ● Experience in data handling in microcontrollers (CSV, JSON etc.)

Must be familiar with:

  • ● Arm cortex processors
  • ● ESP-IDF
  • ● Programming User Interfaces, HMIs
  • ● OTA updates via USB, BLE, or Wi-Fi
  • ● Using external storage
