Role
● 3D CAD Designing & 2D Drawings for DFA & DFM.
● Engineer new lighting solutions, from design concept to manufacturing.
● Conduct routine checks on pre-launch and in-market products and their functionality.
● Investigate and problem-solve issues in existing products.
Skills
● Design engineering using CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, and Catia.
● Proficiency in assigning GD&T. The ability to work with vendors and understand the full manufacturing capacity of vendors.
● Know-how of material selection based on FEA, DFA, DFM, mechanical interfaces, and Tolerance stack up.
Requirements
● 1 to 2 years of experience with CAD tools like Solidworks, Fusion 360, and Ansys Workbench.
● 1 to 2 years experience with simulation software such as Ansys Workbench.
● Experience in design and development as part of new product development.
● Experience in electronic packaging and wire harness installation.
● Experience in utilising parts from industry standard catalogues (Fasters, Bolts, Mechanisms, etc.)
